Refund policy
If you wish to return an item, please contact us first via phone, email, or WhatsApp chat before sending anything back — we'll give you a returns reference and instructions.
Unwanted Goods
If your purchase is unsuitable and you wish to return it for a refund or exchange, the following applies:
- Goods must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
- You must contact us before returning any item to obtain a returns reference.
- Items must be returned in their original packaging and in a saleable, unused condition to qualify for a full refund.
- Return shipping for unwanted items is at your own cost and arrangement, unless the item is faulty, damaged, or was sent in error.
- Please package items securely for transit — we cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by your chosen carrier.
- Your return should include proof of purchase, your name, address, phone number, and order reference number.
Shortages
If your order arrives incomplete, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery so we can investigate and arrange completion of your order. Back-ordered items marked "to follow" are not considered a shortage.
Faulty Products
All products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which does not cover general wear and tear, or consumable/wearing parts (such as drill bits).
- If you receive a faulty item, please let us know within 2 days of delivery. Send the item back to us using a trackable courier service, or bring it into the shop, and we'll arrange repair or replacement with the manufacturer on your behalf.
- We cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit when returning a faulty item to us — please use a trackable service.
- Faulty items will be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer's discretion. Return delivery to you after repair or replacement is free of charge.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
We do not accept returns on sale items, gift cards, or hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases, other than where faulty.
Refunds
Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll let you know if it's been approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, usually within 2 business days. If more than 10 business days have passed since your return was approved and you haven't received your refund, please contact us at sales@dbrtools.co.uk.
